WotA is a superb workhorse yarn, indeed, but it I must choose a favorite, I will always go for softness….soft makes my fingers giggle….and cashmere is nothing if not soft! Capra is cashmere at the right price – YAY! I also adore knitting shawls with Alpaca Cloud! (again with the soft, I know) 😀 Go, soft! Go!

Wool of the Andes is always a winner. It just feels so nice when you work with it.

I love the Wool of the Andes! I think it is a really versatile yarn and wonderful to work with. I am lookin at the WotA Bulky for my Embrace Octopus pattern….

Great brackets! It confirms that the “base yarns” that we’ve used over the years are versatile and well-loved. I can’t do without my WOTA. I don’t think I have another brand of worsted weight in my stash at all.

WOTA is such a workhorse, and wonderfully feltable!

WotA is one of my favorite yarns because I like to do a lot of color work, and there are SO MANY colors to choose from.

I have made my 2 1/2 wk old grandson 2 blankets, a little newborn sweater and I’m working on a little hoody. All of them are out of Comfy. In the hospital his favorite blankie was the one I made for him and all the nurses said it was the most wonderful baby blanket. My daughter has washed both blankets numerous times now and they both still look and feel fantastic.

wota is the ONLY knit picks yarn that i don’t like. i’m really surprised so many people are huge fans. maybe i just got a bad skein when i ordered it?? but it’s so scratchy and rough!

also, why didn’t felici make it into the bracket at all? it has been my go-to sock yarn for as long as i’ve been knitting socks.

Cali, they discontinued it, I think.
