    I am rather confused by some of the directions for this pattern. Rows 4 and 8 state that you should knit the first two stitches, then purl over to the last two stitches, then knit those two. The note for these two rows states what should be done with the 2 yarn overs, then states to knit the rest of the row. Do I knit or purl these two rows.

    Also on row 7 there is only one yarn over mentioned, how does that work for row 8, do i knit or purl those yarn overs?

      Hi Janette, I hope we can help! For rows 4 and 8, you will be knitting the first two stitches, then purling across the rest of the stitches EXCEPT when you come to the double yarn overs from the previous row – it should be pretty obvious, as they will look different than the regular stitch. With those, you will knit in the first loop, then purl into the second loop.

      As for row 7, there are two yarn overs in a row – the stitch repeat begins and ends with a yarn over, so there will be 2 lined up.
