Tucked In: The Darling Blanket

Hi, I’m Heidi, and I’m a blanket addict. I began my crochet love affair with two years ago with my first blanket, and haven’t looked back since. Naturally, I was delighted at the idea of Tucked In, a collection of crochet afghans designed by everyone here at the office.
Originally designed for my charming friend who goes by the name Holly Darling, The Darling Blanket is a beautiful juxtaposition of an elegant, lacy center and chunky border. Self-diagnosed as allergic to color, my friend adores neutral colors, so I chose Wool of the Andes Tweed in Down Heather, which adds just the right amount of texture to this classic tweed look. 
The pattern is an easy-breasy combination of a puff stitch center and single crochet border.
