The Coast with the Most…

…patterns!

It’s not rare to love the Oregon coastline. It’s an amazing place. Rarely, though, does a collection of knitting patterns inspired by that coastline get released. But, I’m pleased to announce that that’s exactly what I just did!

Introducing the Rocky Shores eBook.

This is a collection of six patterns named for and inspired by the rough, windswept Pacific coast of Oregon. Each of the designs features bold cable patterning and a modern twist.

Cape Meares Wrap

Knit in Biggo, this bias-knit wrap is as lofty as it is fast!

Depoe Bay Bag

Perfect for a stroll through a small seaside town, this bag is roomy and quick to knit in Swish Bulky.

Neskowin Vest

Just the thing to keep the chill off your favorite gent, this vest is written for 34-58″ chest measurements.

Brookings Pullover

Andes del Campo gives a unique texture to this stately fisherman’s aran, in nine sizes from 32-64″ bust.

Otter Crest Coat

With a seamless fan of cables in the yoke, this coat brings a new elegance to the cabled cardigan. In nine sizes from 32-64″ bust.

Fogarty Creek Blazer

Princess shaping and exquisite cables lend a feminine shape to this tweedy jacket. In nine sizes from 32-64″ bust.

Just like the coastline that inspired this collection, the patterns of Rocky Shores are anything but ordinary. The whole collection is availble as a downloadable eBook for $9.99, or you can purchase your favorite patterns individually for $4.99. I’d love to know your favorites – patterns or places in Oregon! I could wax poetic all day about Fogarty Creek State Park – that place is magic. And if you ever find yourself in Brookings, enjoy the docks – and the crab cakes! All of the experiences and memories of the coast are poured into these patterns – I hope you enjoy the story that these designs tell.

And as for me, well, I’ll be on my way to Manzanita in a couple hours – I just can’t keep away from the coast!
