Our Freebie Friday pattern this week is a beautiful shawlette by one of our favorite IDP designers!
This is Joyce Fassbender‘s Liana Shawlette. It’s so eye catching!
Using 2 of my most favorite Knit Picks yarns too – Chroma and Glimmer! I love how the stripes in the Chroma lined up so perfectly. And the Glimmer gives it just that bit of sparkle.
All of us here love Joyce‘s patterns – she’s been in the IDP program since May 2010 & I’m always delighted when I get a new submission from her – her lace shawls & shawlettes are always so interesting and beautiful. Plus her yarn choices range from lace weight to worsted – and since I seem to never knit with the lace weight skiens I have, this works out well for me! I think my favorite is the Ginko Leaf Shawlette – I just love the patterning on it.
