Our newest monthly yarn sale makes me so happy – it’s Chroma! Both fingering and worsted weights in all colors are now on sale for 30% off, so it’s a perfect time to stock up on this wonderful and colorful yarn.
Since its release, Chroma has been a favorite of mine – I love how fantastically soft it is and, of course, the colors and striping make even the simplest knit or crochet stitch project look like a work of art. One of my favorite type of projects for Chroma is a simple granny square afghan – I’ve made a bunch of them and they hold up so nicely.
For this one, I used Weather Vane, Sandpiper, and Fog Bank, all in fingering weight. You can read more here!
If knitting is more your style, be sure to check out our Chroma Collection – it’s also on sale and includes 6 fun projects that are designed to show off the color transitions of each color.
Chroma works nicely with other fingering and worsted weight wool yarns such as Palette and Wool of the Andes. Mixing a solid with a stripey yarn is a great way to subtly show off bright colors, like in our Chromatic Sweater, which has long been on my to-knit list.
