It’s Monday, the weekend is gone and we all need something to cheer us up. So how about a couple of new free patterns to get you through the day?
First up, we have Kalurah Hudson‘s Corylus, an lovely iPad cover in Swish Bulky.
It’s so pretty – and functional! Using bulky weight yarn knit at a tighter gauge creates a dense fabric so it will certainly help if you happen to drop your iPad (oops!).
Kalurah also has a couple new IDP patterns this week – Bracken Convertible Cloche (which matches her beautiful Bracken Mitts) and the gorgeous Ardor Throw, made in snuggly Billow. Both are only $1.99 each.
The second free pattern is beautiful Daphne Scarf by Saranac Hale Spencer.
This 49″ x 6″ scarf is perfect for cooler spring days – it takes just 3 skeins of Shine Worsted so it’s cool and comfortable. And the pretty green leaves greet the warmer weather- this time of year a lot of us are looking for a bit of green after a long winter of grey.
