The ocean has been on my mind the last few weeks – I find no where else as peaceful as a quiet day on the Pacific Northwest coast. This week’s newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub club was inspired by a similar scene – the very lovely Wave Dishcloth.
Designed by the wonderful Violet LeBeaux, this dishcloth mimics white capped ocean waves. Created using short rows, main color is knit first, then the the cabled border is picked up and knit directly on the edge. Finally, an i-cord loop is added at the end and voila – you have something to remind you of summer waves when the weather turns dark and chilly.
