I’m hooked! Yes, pun intended!
Over the last few months, we have had dozens of enticing crochet books arriving from a variety of publishers. At first I absolutely refused to learn to crochet. I already had a huge queue of knitting projects! And, spinning!! But, the onslaught of inspiration just kept coming.
Then, 200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws and Afghans by Jan Eaton landed on my desk! Jan’s book looks just like many of the quilting books that have been tempting me. Yep, yet another diversion. Anyway, once I saw crochet blocks as quilting blocks, there was no way I could possibly resist.
Even though Jan’s book is set up so that you can design your own crochet block quilt type throw, I decided to go with one of her patterns just to make things a bit less stressful.
