“May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night and a smooth road all the way to your door.” – Irish Blessing
Playing with front post and back post crochet always has fascinating results – it creates a fun texture that is perfect for dishcloths. An example I hadn’t run across before is this week’s newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub club – check out the free Crochet Celtic Weave Dishcloth pattern.
Designer Tian Connaughton created this gorgeous pattern that results in a beautiful dishcloth. Designed to take advantage of the shifting colors of Dishie Multi, the finished project resembles a woven design that looks much more difficult than it really is. While lovely as a practical piece for your kitchen, this project can be sized up with larger hooks and yarn for placemats or a trivet – or even a lovely throw for the long winter nights.
