“If I tried to describe my personality, I’d start to gush about living by the ocean half my life and being brought up on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and believing in magic for years and years./em>” – Sylvia Plath
There are many ways to make fun mitered squares, though most go from one end to another (for instance, the Ridge Washcloth). This week’s newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub club takes it once step further – check out the Through The Looking Glass Dishcloth.
Designed by Allison Griffith, this pattern turns the mitered square backwards. This pattern is worked in the round from the center out in simple garter stitch. Best of all stripes are worked as you go without breaking the yarn, so you won’t have a million ends to work in. Mix a Dishie Multi with a Dishie Solid, as we did for a unique look. This would also be a great project to continue in the established pattern for a larger square – for a pillow cover or even a throw!
Be sure to download this fun pattern at the links below – and check back here each week to see the newest pattern.
