It’s the first week of October, which means it’s time to release our second free pattern in our 12 Weeks of Gifting series! This week’s pattern is perhaps our most popular pattern download ever—the Hue Shift Afghan.

This chromatic wonder blends eleven colors of our premium acrylic yarn, Brava Sport, resulting in an ultra modern afghan with a huge fan base. Crafted out of two-toned mitered squares, the Hue Shift is one of those projects that is both relaxing to knit and gratifying to chip away at, one block at a time. The rainbow version (pictured) has been the most popular colorway since day one. Never fear, though, fans of subtle color combos. There are a total of 4 curated versions to choose from if rainbows aren’t your jam. Or, think outside the block and create your own dream colorway from scratch!
