Free Through the Looking Glass Dishcloth Pattern

If I tried to describe my personality, I’d start to gush about living by the ocean half my life and being brought up on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and believing in magic for years and years./em>” – Sylvia Plath

There are many ways to make fun mitered squares, though most go from one end to another (for instance, the Ridge Washcloth). This week’s newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub club takes it once step further – check out the Through The Looking Glass Dishcloth.

Fun at Vogue Knitting Live Seattle!

This past weekend, Knit Picks did something we’ve never done before – we had a booth at the super popular Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle! It was so wonderful to meet so many nice folks and be able to show off our yarn & needles in person. Attendees were able to touch all of our yarns (we brought one of each!) at our yarn tasting or try out one our needles. They were also able to see some of our amazing yarn colors in person and purchase skeins of Hawthorne, Stroll, Wonderfluff and more. We had a blast chatting with everyone (some of us even lost our voices) and can’t wait to do it again. We thought we’d share a some of the fun we had!Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle - Knit Picks Booth

Create Your Own Milestones and Memories Projects

Growing up, my beloved grandmother always knit or crocheted at least two afghans for her grandkids. One was given to us right after we were born (mine was a Raggedy Ann & Andy blanket), the other was given when we were 18 and was a series of squares, some plain, some with our favorite colors, some with pictures of things we loved (cats and books features heavily on mine – not much has changed). With that in mind, we have put together a collection with a similar theme – the Milestones and Memories collection.
