It's a way to create a colorwork pattern while only holding one yarn at a time, and just knitting/purling and slipping stitches. Really, that's it. To accompany the first pattern in our new Year of Hats club, we'll show you how to work the three different decreases used in the Resa Hat patterns: the most common knit-wise single decrease (K2tog), the most common purl-wise single decrease (P2tog), and a centered double decrease (CDD). These are excellent, useful stitches to have in your knitting go-to skill set! |
