We’re really excited to share our newest needle colorway, Caspian!
Caspian is a beautiful blend of soothing blues and greens that mix together to make a very striking needle. They’re perfect for wood needle lovers, as they use our strong-and-smooth birch laminate wood and are polished to a soft sheen. We’ve also created a new emerald-colored cable to match your needles.
This week’s marks the opening of the About.com 2013 Readers Choice Awards!
From now until February 11th, you can nominate your favorite blogs, designers, books, yarn company, and needle brand for the award! We look forward to this every year so I thought I’d show you some of my suggestions – you can nominate up to 3 for each category!
Thanks everyone! The comments are now closed & we’ll announce our winners by 8/9!
Yesterday, after we rolled out our brand new and lovely Sunstruck needles, I saw a reverberating message throughout our social media channels: “Whelp! Found my (insert birthday/holiday/what-have-you) present!”. But why wait? What if you could win a full set of interchangeable Sunstruck needles?
We are so excited to introduce you to our newest type of needles, Sunstruck!
These gorgeous needles are a blonde twist on our Harmony needles – it’s the same laminated birch wood as the Harmony needles, but with a beautiful sun kissed look to them. We’ve all completely fallen in love with them & we think you will too. They are available in interchangeable, fixed circular, and straight needles – perfect for any project.
Surely the Oscars made you hungry for more beauty and competition? Well, we’re pleased to announce that Knit Picks was nominated for “Best Needles” in the 2012 Reader’s Choice Awards on About.com! To become a finalist, we were ranked in the top five by dedicated About.com staffers, sifting through hundreds of nominations.
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen that I spent last week in one of my very favorite places in the world – Massachusetts!
I lived in MA for a couple of years and Boston (go Sox!) feels like my 2nd home. So when an idea of a trip to visit yarn stores came up, I jumped right on it. See my old friends and drink massive amounts of Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee while going to a bunch of yarn shops? Sign me up!
