When we first started the planning stages of our two new kitchen collections, my mind was swimming with ideas! I am admittedly am a Pinerest addict, so it’s no surprise that I kept stumbling across mason jar cozies. Once I had decided on the idea for a set of jar cozies, I did many many swatches of different patterns in Curio but ultimately settled on a cute lace chevron motif.
A while back the Knit Picks team was given a challenge to create a pattern for the crocheted kitchen collection. And so the Classic Kitchen Crochet Collection was born. I chose to create the Crocheted Bread Warmer. Since I’m crazy about bread and there’s nothing better than warm bread or rolls, it seemed like the perfect choice for me! There are two shape options, round or square, in Cotlin yarn.
Have you taken a peek at Andean Treasure lately? It’s one of those yarns that I forget about until I see a project in it and then I’m instantly reminded about how wonderful it is. This time it was the utter adorableness of the photo we just took for the catalog.
Little by little we keep adding book download patterns (for $1.99 each) to the KP website. Today we just added 22 new patterns from the book Luxe Knits by Laura Zukaite…
As we’ve told you in the past, we have been working with several of our book publishers to bring you pattern downloads from select books. This way you can choose to purchase one or two patterns of your favorite patterns at $1.99 each from a book rather than buy the whole book… Today I am excited to let you know we now have new book, Arctic Lace by Donna Druchunas, added to our selection.
