A Big Cozy Valentine

I think Valentine’s Day is fun for a lot of reasons. I love the colors: red and pink and white are bright and graphic (I like to sneak orange in there, too, where I can). I like that it comes in the deepest part of winter, when you need a pick-me-up of some kind. I love that it’s a holiday everyone can celebrate and not because everyone has a partner, but because surely everyone can find someone in their life to show appreciation and love toward, right? So this Valentine’s Day, why not knit up a quick accessory for a special person in your life? Our Big Cozy Yarn makes it so fast and fun, and with these free patterns, you’ll want to make one for yourself, too!

What could be more perfect for Valentine’s Day than our V-stitch Bulky Cowl? This one was made in Big Cozy Cobblestone Heather, but for Valentine’s Day, I think one in Garnet Heather would be dreamy. I think the recipient would wear it every single day (I know I would)!

The Longitude Hat only takes 88 yards (2 balls) of The Big Cozy, and can be completed in an afternoon, I bet. Shown in color way Hare Heather, it looks soft and warm, and is sure to bring a smile to someone you love, especially if they’re battling some extreme weather in their part of the country these days!

We’re wishing you a big, cozy Valentine’s Day, and hope you spend it with someone, doing something, you love. It’s not too late to make a quick gift, is it?

P.S. These patterns are both in crochet, but we’ve just added two new quick knit projects to our collection of free patterns. Check out the Hannah’s InfiniTea Cowl and the Cable Me Cozy Pillow Cover, both made in The Big Cozy, too!
