Twelve Weeks of Gifting: Shift Tote

We’re over halfway through of our 12 Weeks of Gifting and we hope you are enjoying all the free patterns! This week we have another favorite pattern free for one week – the gorgeous Shift Tote, in brand new colorways!

These beautiful bags use a makes use of our Chroma yarn to create an eye catching design of shifting colors. The body of the bag uses intarsia to create the stripes – and this pattern is a great way to practice those skills!

We used 2 colors of Chroma to create these versions – for the red/purple one, we used Red Velvet and Avalon, with Wool of the Andes Coal for the bottom of the bag and the handles.

For the blue/brown one, we used Chroma in Weather Vane and Fogbank, with Wool of the Andes Icicle Heather for the bottom and handles.

But don’t feel like you need to just use our suggestions – with all the colors in Chroma, you’re sure to find the perfect mix for you!

Beautiful bag. I thought the free offer is good through today but it is not available. Did it change?

I want to make this tote but prefer purples and/or greens – any recommendations for other combinations that work together – hard to tell based on a small picture

Thanks so much for this fun pattern. Now I need even more extra hours in my day.

I love all these free projects! If I didn’t have other Christmas knitting plans, I would definitely be making them.
