Stashbusting with the Beekeeper’s Quilt

I bought The Beekeeper’s Quilt pattern from Tiny Owl’s Magic Attic back in October and have quietly been working on hexipuffs between other knitting projects ever since. I’ve been using all my fingering weight odds and ends leftover from all the sock projects, mittens and Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi critters that I made over the holidays. Each puff takes me about 25 minutes to knit from start to finish and I’ve been sewing each new hexipuff to the quilt as I go instead of waiting until the end to sew them all together.

Now, I have no intention to make an entire quilt. I’m nowhere near that industrious or patient. Instead, this little beauty will be a delightful chair cushion for my new-to-me rocking chair. In the meantime it’s been fun trying to find new colors to knit puffs in (I’m trying not to repeat any colors which should be very doable because of the small size of the project). I have about ten more hexagons to do and then I’ll be ready to cozy up in my rocking chair for the rest of the winter. This morning I decided to sit down and see if I could identify all the Knit Picks yarn that has gone into this project so far… it was fun trying to retrace my knitting!

I spy some Palette (Pumice, Iris Heather, Peapod, Edamame, Marble Heather, Conch, Rose Hip, Whirlpool, Sky, Huckleberry Heather, Opal Heather, Cornmeal, Turmeric, Calypso Heather and Lipstick), Felici Fingering (Time Traveler and Moonlit), Stroll Glimmer (Runway), Stroll Hand Painted (Playtime and Punky), and Stroll Multi (City Lights).

Do you spot them all?
