Spring: A Time to Flourish!

Are you ready for spring? I certainly am! After our especially cold, rainy winter in the Pacific Northwest, I’m dying to shed my heavy wool sweaters and wear some lighter, brighter garments that match the beautiful blooming flowers and trees starting to appear webbanki.ru. Which is why I’m so excited about Flourish, our new spring collection! It’s filled with lacy tees, lightweight cardigans, and bold colors. I want to introduce you to a few of my favorite pieces- things I can’t wait to cast on for!

I have fallen in love with knitted tee-shirts, especially those with geometric lace. So when I saw the Whitwell Top, I was smitten. With its easy, slightly oversized shape and all-over chevron lace pattern, plus cute little cap sleeves, this one is a winner! Knit in Shine Sport, which I love for its drape and sheen, this would be perfect for a sunny afternoon spent sipping drinks with friends on a patio.

Stiletto Pullover

Another tee in this collection I like is the Stiletto Pullover. I love the sharp, crisp points of the lace panels, and the way the stitch pattern flows vertically.  Since it’s knit in Swish DK, it’ll be super soft and machine-washable, always a plus, and Amethyst Heather is one of my favorite colors. A warm purple is just so springy!

Spring Thaw Cardigan

I finally knitted a fingering-weight sweater last year for the first time. Although it took a long time, I really loved the weight of the sweater. It’s the perfect three season garment! That’s why I was so taken with the Spring Thaw Cardigan. It’s in the most delightful pale turquoise, Sea Foam, and knit with Comfy Fingering, so it’ll soft AND easy-care. I love the way the leaf-inspired lace wraps around the front and comes to a point in the back. It’s a clever detail from the designer, Kephren Pritchett.

Calm Tide Cardigan

Finally, top-down worsted weight cardigans are always my happy place, so the Calm Tide Cardigan is right up my alley. The classic, minimalist purl ridges and three-quarter sleeves make it a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down. The gorgeous natural cream color of Simply Cotton really lets the small details pop. We used matching buttons for this cardi, but I think it would be so fun to add bright red or pink buttons instead. I can definitely see myself throwing this on when the sun goes down and it gets chilly.
