Simply Striped Shrug

Well, I think it’s time for another Freebie Friday!  This week, Erica Jackofsky shares with us her newest pattern – and it uses our brand new yarn Billow!

This is her Simply Striped Shrug – what a great way to use Billow!  It’s exactly thing you want to snuggle in when it’s chilly out (or when you live in a drafty house like me!).

Erica uses stripes and simple stockinette to show off the texture of Billow – these two colors used together (Ice Lily and Tea Rose) gives the shrug a slightly tweedy look.  She used Gosling for the ribbing and all 3 colors look great together.

When we were choosing the colorways for Billow, we went for a contemporary and sophisticated palette that looks fantastic mixed & matched so this is the perfect little pattern to try out your favorite Billow colors.

Erica also blogged a review of Billow – I think she likes it!

Very beautiful shrug…!!! I want to knit shrug like this , but I’m not a pink person. Are there other color combinations you might suggest please. I like the green tones.
