Free Dishcloth Pattern – Sea Swells

Welcome to Week 10 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! This week’s pattern is for all the ocean lovers out there – check out the Sea Swells Dishcloth.

Free Garter Lace Dishcloth - Sea Swells from knitpicks.com

This little dishcloth will take you on an adventure without leaving your home! It uses a fun texture and lace pattern to create the rise and fall of ocean waves, along with a garter stitch border to keep things nice and even. The pattern is fully written and knits up quickly as a perfect piece to celebrate your love of the high seas. We chose to knit our in Dishie Kenai but this would look just as good in Azure or Blue as well. Another fun option is to use Dishie Multi in Aquarium or the very appropriately named Deep Blue Sea. No matter which color you choose, this is a great piece for your kitchen!

Cool dish cloth! But my question is about the Dreamy Waves scarf. What’s the best way to M1L and M1R on the first row of the pattern? I posted the question on Ravelry, but thought you might see it here sooner. Thanks for your help!

Hi Janice! I think I answered you on Ravelry but I’ve updated the pattern to read “With C1, CO 43 sts. K one row.” That should take care of any issues with M1L and M1R you may have. – Stacey
