Free Easy Lace Dishcloth Pattern

Welcome to Week 32 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! Do you love the look of lace but don’t know where to begin? This weeks dishcloth is here to take the fear from lace knitting – check out the Easy Lace Dishcloth!

Free Easy Lace Dishcloth Pattern from knitpicks.com

Faith Schmidt, a super talented designer, gently introduces newbies to the world of lace with this fast and fun dishcloth. Using only yarn overs and decreases, you’ll soon be on your way to knitting all sorts of lace projects! And if you make a tiny error or two, no worries – it’s still a usable dishcloth and errors on there will be far less heartbreaking there than on something like a shawl. The generous size is great too, so you can really see your stitches – if you prefer a smaller dishcloth, Faith also includes instructions for sizing it down. Knit it in Dishie, like we have here, or try a lighter weight yarn like CotLin or even Comfy Fingering – you’ll really have an open and airy cloth!

This is so great…I just bought yarn to make the Pemberley Blanket, which uses the same increases and decreases. Now I can practice before I start the larger project. Thanks! =)
