Free Dishcloth Pattern – Tulip

Welcome to Week 14 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! This week, the sun is out (for now) and we are enjoying all the beautiful flowers now in bloom. So it makes sense we’d have this adorable free Tulip Dishcloth pattern this week.

Free Tulip Dishcloth Pattern from knitpicks.com

This sweet dishcloth by the talented Allyson Dykhuizen is so pretty, you’ll want it on display in your kitchen year round! It has an unusual construction – start at the bottom with the I-cord stem, then watch it bloom with a fun garter texture. The petals are knit separately while you hold the remaining stitches on your needles – this means there is no seaming!

We knit ours up in CotLin Cerise but there are tulips of every color out there – for instance, Canary would match the tulips in my yard, while my neighbors have them in shades like Moroccan Red and Eggplant. If you’re having a hard time choosing colors, the Spring Garden Value Pack has 6 lovely shades of CotLin, at 25% off! No matter what colors you use, you’ll want to make a bouquet of them this spring.

Be sure to download this lovely pattern at the links below – and check back here each week to see the newest pattern.
