Finishing fool

I’ve been finishing up a lot of stash busting projects!

I finished my Pretty Polly by Erica Jackofsky.  I was pretty proud of this one, especially since it’s the first sweater I’ve finished on such a small gauge (size 3 needles!).

I love how it turned out.  The Shine Sport I used is an old color – it was on my first order from Knit Picks back in 2006!  The yarn didn’t work for what I had intended it for so finally, after several years, I frogged that project & knit this one up in about a month.

Erica is one of my favorite designers & this was a really fun knit. I really like the button detail & the lace along the bottom

I also finished up a quick little shrug:

This is the Cindy Lou Shrug by Kay Meadors.  I used Simply Cotton in Carnelian Heather and it only took a couple of days.  It’s a nice easy stitch pattern so it went by quickly.

Also in time for Sock Summit, I finished a pair of socks in my friend’s hand dyed yarn.

Sorry for the blinding white legs – this is the Pacific Northwest & we only just got some sun here!  Anyway, this is Alpha B‘s Elite B – a beautiful blend of cashmere, merino & nylon.  She’s going to be at Sock Summit so I’ll have to pick up more!

What have you finished lately?
