Celebrating 1000 IDP patterns with a contest!

Contest has ended!  We’ll be posting the winner very soon!

Wow wow wow!  We just hit 1000 patterns in the IDP program!  It’s so hard to believe – I’m so excited about how popular this program is with designers and customers alike – it really makes me so very happy.

And who is lucky number 1000?  Why it’s Vonnie, a gorgeous shell by the lovely Kendra Nitta (who says “My last name really is Nitta — but the first syllable is pronounced “neet” not “knit”!”)

I’ve been in love with this shell since it first appeared in Yarn Forward and I was so thrilled when Kendra submitted it to IDP. It has some fantastic details that makes this pattern a standout. It’s one of those patterns that looks great on people of all sizes – in fact, sizing ranges from 30″-54″! It looks best with substantial negative ease, plus there are easy, clear instructions on customizing this vest to your very own body type.

Gorgeous!

We are all so excited about this sweater and the fact that it’s our 1000th IDP pattern we’re going to have a contest!  You can win a copy of the pattern & enough of your favorite color of Gloss DK to make it for yourself.  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post!  The contest will end Monday May 2nd at 8am & I’ll choose a winner that morning.

Of course, there are a couple of rules & conditions:
One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address. No purchase necessary. All comments must be posted on THIS blog. Comments on other blog posts or on Facebook posts will not be valid for this contest.
