Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Win Your Wish List contest- we had over 4,800 entries in just one week! We selected three participants at random as the winners. Congratulations toTara Paine, Rebecca Bryant, and Kara McIntosh! These three lucky knitters each won $50 worth of goodies from their wish lists. Some of you might have noticed a new yarn at Knit Picks today. You can call it happenstance, a coincidence, or simply a happy twist of fate – no matter how you look at it, I think it is a wonderful sign that our newest addition to the special reserve line up, Full Circle, was launched on America Recycles Day! This yummy, single ply yarn is made from a blend of Merino and Highland wool fibers that would have otherwise been discarded. This allows the mill to reduce waste and conserve our valuable resources, while you get to enjoy an amazing blend of fibers that help the Earth! |

In June, I asked for your nominations for Felici Favorites, your all time favorite colorways of our Felici self-striping yarn. I was overwhelemed by the number of responses I got!! It took a long time to look through all the comments here and in the KP Lovers Group on Ravelry (Ravelry link), but based on your suggestions and our sales data for Felici, we narrowed it down to 9 colors and placed our order. And now they're here!! Thank you so much for helping us make this tough decision. |

Before we announce our winners, we first would just like to say thank you to everyone who commented on the Teeny Tiny Mochimochi giveaway post! We got a total of 2491 comments, wow! I guess a lot of us really want to learn how to make those adorable little chickens! 🙂 Using a random number generator, we have selected our winners! This is the baby blanket I started on our road trip to Seattle. As usual, I was a "bit" optimistic thinking I would finish the whole thing over the weekend. One, I forgot how easily I fall asleep riding in a car. Two, I was completely unprepared for a stunningly beautiful day on Saturday. Bob, his son Adam and I walked and walked and walked the city. Then, we went out to dinner with Adam and a couple of his friends. Yummy, yummy Vietnamese food! |

Barbara Walker is such an icon in the knitting community and the fact that she was so kind to autograph this copy of “Stitch Heaven” is really wonderful.
