12 Weeks of Gifting – Color Shifting Shawl

It’s Week 5 of our  12 Weeks of Gifting! We hope you have been enjoying these brand new free patterns so far! This week, we have a lovely project that is perfect for anyone who loves playing with color – check out the Color Shifting Shawl.

Color Shifting Shawl from knitpicks.com

Our own Jennifer designed this shawl with our beloved Hawthorne in mind, using a combination of  Multi, Speckle, and Tonal yarns and incorporating a variety of simple patterns and textures. This asymmetrical shawl is worked diagonally from tip to tip, with increases only on one side. Want a bigger shawl? It’s easy to repeat the sections so you can have an extra large wrap to keep you warm. Choose 5 colors of your favorite tonal, kettle-dyed, or hand painted yarns – you’ll want a good mix of light and darker hues, with colors that work cohesively together to show the shawl off to its full potential. Can’t decide what colors to use? Our color curated Value Packs are a big help – we even have the original colorway conveniently packaged together at a discount!

Any chance you’ll offer a crochet version of this pattern Would love to make this using the color pack, but don’t knit. Pretty please? With a strawberry pompom on top?
